Lilia Dobreva presented the book “Autism with the face of a girl” on the air of the Bulgarian National Radio
“Autism with the face of a girl” draws attention to the little affected in Bulgaria issue of autism in girls.
Lilia Dobreva is the editor of the book. In the show “The Rhythm of the Capital” she said that the book is full of emotions, suffering and disappointment, but also with successes and moments of joy.
“It could be useful to parents of girls with autism. Why girls? Because autism in girls passes very differently as symptoms, as age limits and because for a long time – 70 years, it was believed that autism in girls does not exist”, said Lilia Dobreva.
